Mother Earth “Pacha Mama” Icaro – from the Album of Traditional Ayahuasca Icaros Healing Chants blend with Soft Jungle Sounds & the Rattle. Healing Music – Download Ayahuasca Song.
When you hear this Pacha Mama song you can feel this connection to Mother Earth through the medicine. You can feel everything that has to do with Mother Earth, and how important she is to us, and not us to her. This song reflects the importance of Mother Earth to all of us. Without Mother Earth we wouldn’t have our clothes, our homes, our foods our medicines, our fancy technology and toys. We wouldn’t have our health, our herbs, we would have nothing. We wouldn’t have our elements, we wouldn’t have life without her. The Mother Earth is alive, this being that we walk, on travel on, crawl on, swim in, it is alive, we are a part of it and it is a part of us. She is so important to us, without Mother Earth we are nothing.
This song is Mother Earth song, because “Pacha Mama” translated to English means Mother Earth. This song reflects the importance of Mother Earth to all of us.
Without Mother Earth we wouldn’t have our clothes, our homes, our foods our medicines, our fancy technology and toys. We wouldn’t have our health, our medicines, our herbs, we would have nothing. We wouldn’t have our elements, we wouldn’t have life without her. We wouldn’t exist and yet as a whole, as a people we are continuously destroying our planet, destroying our Mother Earth, destroying our very essence.
Connection to a Feminine Medicine...
As Native Indigenous people we connect the earth to our own mothers because Mother Earth gives birth and so do our mothers so we make that connection.
Also, the Ayahuasca medicine as I have experienced is a feminine entity, a feminine medicine. There are, on the other hand, medicines that are male, for example, the Cactus of the Altiplano. I am sure they have female Cacti as well or they wouldn’t have the Cactus plant at all, but the important thing is the male and the female energy, and how important one is to the other, to create life. One begins to learn this when they begin to work with this medicine, specifically this medicine, La Ayahuasca, with this Pacha Mama Ayahuasca Song.

When we think that we have dominion over the earth, we don’t, we belong to the earth the earth does not belong to us. That is one of the Native teachings that we have always had, that I have had growing up. This planet is our home, it is our Mother Earth and we really need to take care of it.

About Songs of the Night Ayahuasca Songs from the Jungle Album
While I was there in Peru these medicine songs were personally gifted to me by a medicine man from the Loretto region. I hope that by sharing these songs that they may reach out to you, to show and help give an understanding of what is involved when working with “La Ayahuasca”. I sing these songs to you with great respect, and from my heart, so that they may heal and reveal to you the medicine that they carry within. These songs tell a story within themselves…Listen and Download all Ayahuasca Icaros on the Songs of the Night Album

At the time when I experienced La Ayahuasca medicine during ceremony we sat on the ground. We sat on these little benches that were made of the earth, right there on the ground, they were dug out, allowing us to literally connect ourselves to Mother Earth by sitting right there on the Earth. You put your towel down or your little mat or your rug on the ground that you brought to sleep on. We didn’t lay down, we sat upright, there was a discipline with sitting upright that has to do with our spine. Our spine in our bodies resembles the tree of life, the tree of knowledge, the connection of it to the earth with the roots that go out of your back/bum and into the ground and makes that etheric spiritual connection, and you can imagine it. Sort of like in the scenes of the movie “Avatar” when the Navi would connect with “Yahweh”, which is their planet’s name, to get in contact with the connection to their earth-planet, realizing it is a living being.
