SOPLANDO SONG #1: The Ayahuasca icaro “Soplando” means blowing, it comes from the verb “soplar”, which means “to blow”. What I have learned in the Ayahuasca way is that Soplando is similar to other North American Native ways of sending your energy and your prayers, invoking or invocation to the directions. When we do this with Soplando we just make a little fist, and then we blow, very light. It sounds almost like making an ‘s’ sound at the same time. Then you would release your hand. That energy center that we have in the hand, we are sending that energy to that direction, and then we go to the next direction. You say that little prayer and you are introducing yourself….
