  • Amor (Love)

Amor translated to English means “Love”. This song is one of the last songs that can be sung in the ceremony. I think this song encapsulates the feeling of love from the entire ceremony.

Maybe in the ceremony itself, maybe the last thing you would think of is love, especially if you had a difficult ceremony, or maybe it wasn’t the ceremony maybe you just had a difficult day. This song can help us and give us that insight, which in itself is healing. I think this song is necessary, it makes its own statement, in the ceremony, or even just in the song in itself, “Love!”.

  • La Cancion Del Shaman (Song of the Shaman) – Shaman Song #4

La Cancíon del Shaman, the Song of the Shaman (Shaman Song) speaks about the magic of the Shaman and the way that they work, in helping each and every individual who is participating in the ceremony. The Shaman can help relieve their pains, whether the pain is physical, mental or emotional. When we think of pain we think of physical pain but we can have emotional and mental pain, and spiritual pain as well. Those things that bother you and hold you down will never return, once you get cured and worked on by whatever Shaman is doing the work. That is the essence of a true shaman.

  • “Antikuina” Song of Wisdom

This song is an invocation of the Ancestral spirits of the Ayahuasca medicine and of the individual to come to that place right there, into the ayahuasca ceremony. “Antikuina” is a really powerful song because it brings in and is invoking the ancestors of the Ayahuasca and those that are of that realm and working on the other side to help us. We call them Ancestors because that is who was before us. That is why we do this, to honour them, to contact them, to get to know who they are through the Ayahuasca medicine

  • Ayahuasca and Magic Mushrooms “Hongos”

Traditionally in Peru what they do with the Hongos (Psychadelic Mushrooms) is mix them in with the Ayahuasca when the Ayahuasca is brewing. This Songs of the Night icaro “Hongos” talks about opening up the mind, removing that veil and stepping into that world, that is our world right now, it is just at a different level, at an advanced level. The Mushrooms, or ‘Hongos’, like the Ayahuasca help to open up the passageway to the mind, they open up our minds.
